NAFD Basic Funerals

We are an independent funeral director. In accordance with the Code of Practice we offer a Basic Funeral to a standard specification. As this service is designed to meet a specific choice or economic need the services available are restricted to those shown below.

•    Provision of the Funeral Director's services
•    Attending to all necessary arrangements
•    Provision of necessary staff
•    Provision of a coffin suitable for the purpose of cremation or burial
•    Transfer of the deceased from place of death to our Chapel of Rest during normal working hours
•    Care of the deceased prior to the funeral
•    Provision of a hearse to the nearest crematorium or cemetery at a time convenient to ourselves
 
This specification excludes the following services:-

•    Embalming
•    Viewing of the deceased
•    Provision of a limousine
•    Any fees or disbursements payable on the clients behalf
